WILL THE FULL MOON DO IT FOR THE LAKERS?

[click chart for details]

It's a powerful Full Moon ending this month... enough to trigger an 8.0 earthquake in Chile the day before... what will it do to the Lakers - Nuggets game this afternoon?

As the game progresses Mars will move across the 1st House representing the Home team Lakers... that's a good point... a Stellia of The Sun conjunct Jupiter a 9 degrees of Pieces, the Mid Heaven (Home team) at 16 degrees, Venus at 21 degrees, and Uranus at 25 degrees... another plus for the Lakers...

The Denver Nuggets have Pluto a 5 degrees of Libra on the visitor side conjunct the Descendant at four degrees and square to Saturn at 2 degrees of Cancer... in the 4th House representing the end game for the Nuggets... that's rather negative...

It looks like the Lakers should take it ...and the bookie agrees ...and rates them the -6 1/2 point favorite ...no odds posted yet, which will be low ...nonetheless, I'll wager a fiver on the Lakers if odds are posted before Noon...

...we shall see...

LIKE I SAID… IT WORKS ABOUT 60% OF THE TIME…

James LeBron proves that even on a bad day with all sorts of squares… you can still over come them and have a great day and score 36 points and put the Celtics away 108 – 88… and that’s why LeBron and Bryant get paid the money they do… they defy the odds… and win anyway…

It amazes me how the bookies sometimes can get the point spreads so close… like -1½ and the Bucks take the Pacers 112 - 110 …and the one that followed the chart precisely… the Nuggetts take the Warriors 127 - 112…

…so, two out of three …at .666 …the usual 60 something percent… like many other good systems …The only difference is I didn’t charge you an obscene amount of money for a rehash of something centuries old… and we had some $5 fun going for the hat trick…

…we’ll try again soon… five for seven… that’s .714… we’re right up there with the Lakers.

CLASSIC METHOD STUDY DAY… AND A THREE GAME PARLEY…

Today there are classic aspect patterns and placements that illustrate a basic mundane astrology method of prognosticating sporting events… or any opposing side events… that dates back to John Lilly, a very famous astrologer during the 17th Century… who predicted the 1666 London Fire and who was an advisor to royalty.

The basic theory is fairly simple… with the date, location, and scheduled time of the contest… one erects what is known as a mundane event chart …where all the planets and House cusps are at the start of the game.

In the example… and for today’s research experiment and wager… we shall study the chart for the game of Indiana Pacers versus the visiting (challenger) Milwaukee Bucks in Indianapolis, Indiana at 7:00 PM.

The home team, or sometimes the favorite, for example the Super Bowl when it is held in a different city than either team’s home… is represented by the Ascendant on the chart.

It will, in this example of a regular season game, represent the Indiana Pacers… We will be looking for the aspects and planets deposited in the 1st House (their energy for the game), 5th House (how they play), and the 10th House (the final outcome).

The opposite side, the Descendant represents the visitor, or sometimes the underdog if the event is held in a neutral location to both participants, such as a boxing match… and here we will be looking for the aspects and planets deposited in the 7th House (their energy for the event), the 11th House (how they play), and the 4th House (the final outcome of the event for them).

The Pacers have the Ascendant at 13 degrees of Virgo at the start of the game… with Saturn (a heavy restrictive energy) in the 1st House… which aptly describes their current statistics a record of 19-38 and .333 thus last in the Central conference of the Eastern division… and it is square to ruthless Pluto… this bodes ill, as John Lilly would say, for the Pacers. The 5th and 10th House are vacant… further weakening their game.

The Bucks at the Descendant side have a Stellia stretching across the Descendant from Jupiter at 9 degrees of Pisces, the Sun at 7 degrees, the Descendant Cusp at 13 degrees, Venus at 18 degrees and Uranus at 25 degrees… a powerful bundle of energy… which by orb allowance trines the conjunct of the Moon at 29 degrees of Cancer (the sign it rules, thus strong) to Mars at 1 degree of Leo… another strong aspect and in the 11th House representing how they will play…

Pluto is in the 4th House which here will be the ‘obstacle’ to the Pacers… as it squares Saturn in their 1st House… which augers well, as John would say, for the Bucks… and with their current statistics of 28-28 .500 the bookie and analysts will agree… thus a predictable game and a fairly safe but low paying bet…

[click charts for details]

The Ascendant of the Golden State Warrior versus the Denver Nuggetts is at 26 degrees of Virgo and the same Moon Mars conjunct occurs in the 11th House… I would give this chart the same over all reading and again the statistics agree… currently the Warriors at .286 and the Nuggets .661 averages… and the Nuggetts are the 7 point favorites… the second game of the potential parley bet…

Now the tricky one… the Boston Celtics versus the Cleveland Cavaliers in Boston at 8:00 PM. They’re both at the top of their Division of the Atlantic and Central Divisions with Boston at .655 and Cleveland at .759 and the bookie favors Cleveland by -120

The aspects will be the same… but note the time of the game… it is one hour later than the previous two games… which makes for a different Ascendant which moves one degree every 4 minutes… thus this game has an Ascendant of 7 degrees of Libra… with the Moon Mars conjunct in the 10th House… the Celtics… and the Sun Jupiter conjunct in the 5th House… the Celtics…

Checking the transits to the two lead players, James LeBron of the Cavaliers, and Paul Pierce of the Celtics, neither one has outstanding aspects for the day and may not play to their potentials… thus making it a scramble between the other players… which just might tip the game to the underdog Celtics… the third piece of what may be a rather profitable parley bet…

I like the charts… yeah, I’ll play a fiver on that… just for the reseach fun of it…

…and that’s what I’ve just done, dear reader …with a $5 parley on the Bucks -1½ spread (no game odds, the bookie's astrologer may be telling him what I’m up to)…and the Celtics as the +120 underdog… and the Nuggetts as the -250 favorite… and if it works it will pay out $24.40…

…we shall see…

Now for the Disclaimer. To be karmicly correct I must emphasize accepting resposnsiblity for one's actions... if one gambles, do so responsibly. Please, dear reader, DO NOT bet the farm on any of these pronostications. I have experienced that these methods work about 60% of the time... No system of any method ever bats .1000... and last season I finished .692 with the 4 out 5 during the championship playoffs... I am simply a fun time better of $5-10 wagers... just for the fun/therapy/research of it...

OKAY… SO IT WAS CLOSE… 99-98… AND KOBE SAVES IT AGAIN!

…and Kobe dunks another one.
ESPN Photo: Joe Murphy

What a come back after missing five games with an ankle injury!… in last night’s game with the Grizzles, Kobe Bryant brings the Lakers from behind and scores 9 points in the final minutes of the game… and the winning 3 pointer with only 4 seconds left! HOOYAH, KOBE!

…and the shaman astrologer has beaten the unpredictable and erratic breaker of plans, the ‘Joker’ Uranus, 3 out of 4 now! …HOOYAH!

…and I believe that warrants a bowl of ice cream and cookies …bare with me, dear reader …as I confessed before …I live in greater Los Angeles …in Long Beach where the big harbor is …and I’m a Lakers fan.

URANUS… ALWAYS FULL OF SURPRISES…

Now there’s a $10 reminder to check the injuries list… with two of Utah’s starters out injured …Uranus trips me up and the Atlanta Hawks beat the Utah Jazz 105 – 100 …and the surprise is always the one you did not expect… like the Atlanta Hawks haven’t defeated the Jazz in Utah since 1993… ‘surprise, surprise’ …says the ‘Joker’ Uranus…

Well let’s see if Uranus does the Lakers any good tomorrow night… I got a fiver that says the Lakers take the Grizzlies Tuesday… and if not I’ll go back to disasters and politics astrology until the planets move a bit more…

…we shall see…

A LOOK AT ORBS… NOW THE GAME PLAN CHANGES…

While the ‘Yod’ is still there… the Sun has past the orb allowance of 2 degrees… and as the aspect passes from exact it begins to weaken… stationing retrograde Mars is at 1 degree of Leo and Saturn sextiles from 3 degrees of Libra… but the Sun is now at 4 degrees of Pisces and separating from the Inconjunct to Mars and with a 3 degree orb now… and is moving out of the Inconjunct to Saturn… which does not favor the visiting Atlanta Hawks… and with Uranus now off of the Descendant by 10 degrees, their chances of ‘upsetting’ the Utah Jazz are not that strong…

The current ‘hot’ Jazz are the 5 point favorites …so, I’ll pull a little of the profit ($12) to the stack… and make a flat $10 win bet with my online bookie… on the Utah Jazz tonight…

[click chart for details]

THE SAME ASPECTS REPEAT… AND A SIMILAR GAME!

Except for a 12 degree movement of the transiting Moon… the planet positions and aspects are the same… indicating the Descendant teams’ potential to win… with the often ‘upset’ planet on the visitor’s 1st House Cusp… indicating a possible ‘upset’ of the favorite visiting team… the Utah Jazz.

Their game with the Portland Trailblazers at Portland, OR at 7:30 PM was almost a virtual repeat of last night’s game with the Thunder and the Knicks The favored visitors, the Utah Jazz, struggled throughout the game… the possible ‘surprise upset’ as represented by Uranus on the Descendant again… with the game tied in the final seconds at… 83-83 …and then finally winning by four points at the end of the over time… Jazz 93 – Blazers 89

JAZZ 1/14 2/24 3/22 4/29 83 OT 10 = 93
BLAZ 1/27 2/23 3/23 4/10 83 OT 6 = 89

…I realize the audience that truly appreciates that fact is rather small …and is within a few of a small astrology community of readers, clients, friends, etc… However, dear reader… please bare with my exuberance… but that for me as an mundane astrologer scientist researcher… it literally just blows my mind! …wow! …it’s just amazing!

The chart is almost identical to yesterday’s except for the Moon… had I written a prediction it would have been word for word… the same prediction that I wrote about the Thunder and Knicks game the day before they played… check the archives...

…I could have even made the same bet and won again …dear, reader …we are both are going through a crash course in the power of the ‘Yod’ aspect in astrology charts… that’s been around since the past Super Bowl game… This is truly unique… even for the astrologer… fascinating!

SLOW ROLLING… THUNDER 121 - KNICKS 118… IN OVER TIME

Tracy McGrady plays the… ‘Joker’ Uranus… with my bet…

Now you see why I don’t like to bet point spreads… especially when the planet Uranus (rules upsets, surprises) is hanging around one of the cardinal points… like right on the Descendant… which is the visiting team… and it’s the team you want to bet… and they are the 5 point favorite. The ‘Joker’ Uranus is always full of surprises, like Tracy McGrady scoring 26 points in his Knicks debut… and like a 105 tie… and then over time. But I’m not complaining… a win is a win… albeit, a tad sloppy…

…but, HOOYAH!… anyway… that’s three for three in basketball since I started charting them again after the Super Bowl… now on to the next game.

…and I’ve been doing a little bit of over time myself …so, I think I’ll pass tomorrow, get some rest, and concentrate on next week’s games and the LA Lakers, now that Kobe is back…

…all the predictions have happened this month …and I’m just tired of reading through all the depressing news …let’s look at sports and other fun things for a couple of days…

THE ‘YOD’ FORMATIONS CONTINUE… WILL IT WORK AGAIN?

It worked for Drew Brees and the Saints... and it worked in the last basketball game wager... will it work again this Saturday?

There are two of the arrowhead pointers [red dash pointer shapes] in the mundane chart tomorrow… that indicates to me that in the basketball game of the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder versus The New York Knicks in New York… the Thunder should roll across the Knicks… and defeat them. Most other sports analysts and my online bookie will probably agree… so they’ll probably be the favorites.

Since it’s a double ‘Yod’ with one point on Mars (rules basketball) in the 11th House (how the visitor will play) in Leo (Sun ruled) and the point on the other ‘Yod’ is on the Sun (rules Leo) conjunct Jupiter (perhaps high score)… and all the trines and sextiles going to the visitor 7th House side and the opposition and square on Saturn (possible low score) in the 1st House (Home team)… it’s a fairly safe bet… so, since the odds and payout will be low… just for the fun and research of it… I shall bet the entire winnings of $8.25 from the previous bet… on the Oklahoma City Thunder to win Saturday.

…with the ‘Joker’ Uranus on the cusp of the Descendant… there could also be a ‘surprise upset’… and my plan goes bust… it is after all… a ball game and anything can happen… that’s why I don’t like betting on point spreads… we shall see…

WILL THE ‘YOD’ WORK FOR THE LAKERS IN BASKETBALL?

We saw the power of it in last Sunday’s Super Bowl game… now, the question is… does it also work in basketball games?

As in last Sunday’s game, there is the same transiting formation of a ‘Yod’ with the sextile (60 degrees) base of Mars at 5 degrees of Leo and Saturn at 4 degrees of Libra… they both then Inconjunct (150 degrees) to the point of the arrow of destiny… Jupiter (good fortune) at 5 degrees of Pisces… [follow the red dotted pointer shape on the chart] and Jupiter sits right on the Descendant (determined by 7 PM game time in Salt Lake City, UT) …and the Descendant in classic horary mundane astrology represents the visiting team… and tonight it’s the Los Angeles Lakers challenging the home team the Utah Jazz.

Now it gets really powerful… as the ‘Yod’ or ‘Finger of God’ formation repeats… this time from the base sextile of Jupiter/Descendant at 5 degrees of Pisces to Pluto at 4 degrees of Capricorn and by Inconjuncts they point to the focal planet Mars (rules basketball) at 5 degrees of Leo in the 11th House which represents the kind of game that the visitors will play… with this powerful formation it may well be a very aggressive physical game… maybe personal fouls, and arguments, injuries… very strong chart with a double ‘Yod’ on the visitors side.

Also Mars is in the late side of the 11th House… thus, as the game progresses… so does the Ascendant (Utah Jazz) and all the cusps (House borders) in a counter-clockwise direction. It takes 4 minutes for the Ascendant to move 1 degree… and approximately 2 hours (average ¾ of the game or more) for the Ascendant to move a full house or sign. When a planet is where Mars is in this chart (the latter part of the 11th) it indicates that throughout the bulk of the game Mars will move across the 11th House (the LA Lakers)… and as the point of the ‘Yod”…it is emphasized even more.

There are other favorable aspects… and I could go on for pages more… however, I think just these two major ‘Yod’ formations will be enough to give the LA Lakers a victory… and to test the theory, I’ll make a flat $5 win bet on the Lakers with my online bookie…

…yes, dear reader …I am a Lakers fan …what the hey, I’m from L.A. and I’m a tad biased… Now if this season goes well for my prognostications, this can be valuable thing to know about the eccentric astrologer wizard... If I’m charting another team’s game… that’s an indication that I see things that may bode ill for the Lakers… and my heart won’t allow me to bet against them… and on those nights I’ll chart the Cavaliers, the Bulls, the Pistons… and maybe the improved Oklahoma City Thunder… they’ve made some nice under dog upsets now and then…

…we shall see…
