CLASSIC METHOD STUDY DAY… AND A THREE GAME PARLEY…

Today there are classic aspect patterns and placements that illustrate a basic mundane astrology method of prognosticating sporting events… or any opposing side events… that dates back to John Lilly, a very famous astrologer during the 17th Century… who predicted the 1666 London Fire and who was an advisor to royalty.

The basic theory is fairly simple… with the date, location, and scheduled time of the contest… one erects what is known as a mundane event chart …where all the planets and House cusps are at the start of the game.

In the example… and for today’s research experiment and wager… we shall study the chart for the game of Indiana Pacers versus the visiting (challenger) Milwaukee Bucks in Indianapolis, Indiana at 7:00 PM.

The home team, or sometimes the favorite, for example the Super Bowl when it is held in a different city than either team’s home… is represented by the Ascendant on the chart.

It will, in this example of a regular season game, represent the Indiana Pacers… We will be looking for the aspects and planets deposited in the 1st House (their energy for the game), 5th House (how they play), and the 10th House (the final outcome).

The opposite side, the Descendant represents the visitor, or sometimes the underdog if the event is held in a neutral location to both participants, such as a boxing match… and here we will be looking for the aspects and planets deposited in the 7th House (their energy for the event), the 11th House (how they play), and the 4th House (the final outcome of the event for them).

The Pacers have the Ascendant at 13 degrees of Virgo at the start of the game… with Saturn (a heavy restrictive energy) in the 1st House… which aptly describes their current statistics a record of 19-38 and .333 thus last in the Central conference of the Eastern division… and it is square to ruthless Pluto… this bodes ill, as John Lilly would say, for the Pacers. The 5th and 10th House are vacant… further weakening their game.

The Bucks at the Descendant side have a Stellia stretching across the Descendant from Jupiter at 9 degrees of Pisces, the Sun at 7 degrees, the Descendant Cusp at 13 degrees, Venus at 18 degrees and Uranus at 25 degrees… a powerful bundle of energy… which by orb allowance trines the conjunct of the Moon at 29 degrees of Cancer (the sign it rules, thus strong) to Mars at 1 degree of Leo… another strong aspect and in the 11th House representing how they will play…

Pluto is in the 4th House which here will be the ‘obstacle’ to the Pacers… as it squares Saturn in their 1st House… which augers well, as John would say, for the Bucks… and with their current statistics of 28-28 .500 the bookie and analysts will agree… thus a predictable game and a fairly safe but low paying bet…

[click charts for details]

The Ascendant of the Golden State Warrior versus the Denver Nuggetts is at 26 degrees of Virgo and the same Moon Mars conjunct occurs in the 11th House… I would give this chart the same over all reading and again the statistics agree… currently the Warriors at .286 and the Nuggets .661 averages… and the Nuggetts are the 7 point favorites… the second game of the potential parley bet…

Now the tricky one… the Boston Celtics versus the Cleveland Cavaliers in Boston at 8:00 PM. They’re both at the top of their Division of the Atlantic and Central Divisions with Boston at .655 and Cleveland at .759 and the bookie favors Cleveland by -120

The aspects will be the same… but note the time of the game… it is one hour later than the previous two games… which makes for a different Ascendant which moves one degree every 4 minutes… thus this game has an Ascendant of 7 degrees of Libra… with the Moon Mars conjunct in the 10th House… the Celtics… and the Sun Jupiter conjunct in the 5th House… the Celtics…

Checking the transits to the two lead players, James LeBron of the Cavaliers, and Paul Pierce of the Celtics, neither one has outstanding aspects for the day and may not play to their potentials… thus making it a scramble between the other players… which just might tip the game to the underdog Celtics… the third piece of what may be a rather profitable parley bet…

I like the charts… yeah, I’ll play a fiver on that… just for the reseach fun of it…

…and that’s what I’ve just done, dear reader …with a $5 parley on the Bucks -1½ spread (no game odds, the bookie's astrologer may be telling him what I’m up to)…and the Celtics as the +120 underdog… and the Nuggetts as the -250 favorite… and if it works it will pay out $24.40…

…we shall see…

Now for the Disclaimer. To be karmicly correct I must emphasize accepting resposnsiblity for one's actions... if one gambles, do so responsibly. Please, dear reader, DO NOT bet the farm on any of these pronostications. I have experienced that these methods work about 60% of the time... No system of any method ever bats .1000... and last season I finished .692 with the 4 out 5 during the championship playoffs... I am simply a fun time better of $5-10 wagers... just for the fun/therapy/research of it...
